Ballet is one of those styles of dance that many adults would love to try but they are worried about their bodies and flexibility. That's why we created this adult-only class for absolute beginners.
Why do we add it to our Ballroom repertoire of Ballroom classes? Ballet will give you strength in the body and deep understanding of your muscles that every step in Ballroom will be easier. You will gain the balance and skills necessary for all your turns and pirouettes.
Princeps Ballet will give you great fundamentals to make you look, feel better and
a better Ballroom and Latin dancer!
Due to current circumstances Ballet class will take place online via Zoom.

It's an adult only class. No dance experience needed. No partners needed. Advanced bookings ONLY!
What to wear:
Comfortable clothes (loose or tight top, sweat pants/shorts)-
You don't need a leotard and tights!
Shoes: ballet slippers or socks.

The class is booked for min 5 and maximum 10 students to give you maximum attention. You will be taught by a professional Ballet dancer, Kate or Clara (read more about them).
Private ballet lessons 1 to 1 are available on request.

Learn to move your body to classics from Swan Lake. The music will calm you down and help you focus on precision of your moves.
Strengthen your ankles during exercises at the barre and in the centre. Pointing your feet and doing high spirals will become your asset on the competition floors.
Gain the balance and posture of a real ballerina. Every move is finished, all the muscles are engaged from feet to tips of your fingers.
Kate is a Professional Ballerina with an International dance career. She was a solo artist at the most prestigious classical ballets including:
Swan Lake as Odette/Odile
Cinderella as Cinderella
Raymonda as Sugar Plum Fairy
She also featured on BBC1 dancing Swan Lake and BBC2 in Secrets of the Human Body as a ballet dancer.
Kate regularly featured in high street brand advertising for her outstanding ballet artform including Nespresso, Adidas and Jo Malone.
Kate's World class ballet training, performance experience as well as academic success make her a truly unique asset of the Ballet For Ballroom class.
Born in Russia, Benny started his dancing as a child competing all over former Soviet Union.
Holding a diploma from the Central School of Ballet in London the last two decades were spend dancing with classical ballet and contemporary dance companies, performing in West End shows, acting in films and TV and enjoying teaching all of the above to his students.
Benny is very passionate and charismatic teacher. He inspires with his energy, expertise, passion and communication skills. His ballet lecture in recent Dancers United workshop was a pure success as he understands where Ballroom dancing benefits from ballet.
Born in Hong Kong, Clara is IDTA Fellow in Ballet and Theatre style of dancing.
Clara has long experience teaching ballet to children and adults and preparing them for the exams.
In her class alongside ballet exercise at the barre and centre Clara also incorporate Pilates exercise. Her warm personality will assure you that you can do it!
